28/04/17   Kildare Awards Night

It was agreed at our last County Board meeting that we would this year host our 1st ever Awards Night.

​

This will take place on October 13th at the Keadeen Hotel, Newbridge @ 7:30.

​

This will be a Black Tie event.

​

Tickets will be €25 to include dinner, desert & entertainment. Tickets will be available from your clubs in the next few weeks. Music will be provided by the Gordon Turner Band Trixx.

​

The Cups for all our County Strokeplay & Matchplay winners will be presented on the night along with a number of awards yet to be confirmed.

​

Our MC for the night will be Killian Whelan, now of Tipp FM (formerly KFM).

​

PPUI President Mervyn Cooney will be in attendance.

​

We will keep you updated on the event and hope for your support to make it a successful venture.

Don't forget the Leinster Mixed Foursomes qualifying this Saturday in Prosperous.

Kildare Inter Club Competition 24.04.17

 

Please see below the results of Monday nights Inter Club competition in Athgarvan.

The Best Nett on the night was won by Frank Mannix, Best Gross by Ian Dillon.

5 people shared the Hole in One prize - they were Chrissie Byrne, Sean Harkins, Ian Dillon, Joe Ronan & Betty Smyth.Ian Dillon and Marian Byrne win the inaugural Kildare County Board Scratch Cups.
